The Rwanda National Olympic and Sports Committee (RNOSC) held its Annual Ordinary General Assembly, marking a significant milestone in the development of Rwanda’s sports sector. Among the key resolutions passed, the approval of the RNOSC Headquarters and Olympic Training Centre construction project stood out as a transformative step for the country’s sports infrastructure.
The General Assembly took place on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Lemigo Hotel, Kigali, bringing together 34 National Sports Federations and Associations. The Assembly reviewed and approved several reports and resolutions expected to reshape the sporting landscape.
A highlight of the meeting was the approval of a state-of-the-art RNOSC headquarters, which will also house National Sports Federations and an Olympic Training Centre. The facility, set to be developed in five phases, aims to provide a centralized hub for sports governance, training, and athlete development.
National Sports Federations that have already initiated similar projects were encouraged to collaborate with RNOSC to align efforts and optimize resources. Additionally, other members were urged to engage with their respective International Sports Federations and partners to explore potential funding and technical support for the initiative. This project is expected to significantly enhance Rwanda’s sports infrastructure and strengthen elite athlete development.
Beyond the landmark infrastructure decision, several other critical resolutions and reports shaped the Assembly:

Members reviewed and approved the reports, reaffirming their commitment to implementing necessary adjustments.
