Session 03: Managing Human Resources
From 24th to 25th May, Rwanda National Olympic and Sports Committee is hosting the third session of Advanced Sports Management Courses with the chapter, “Managing Human Resources”.
The session is being attended by about 14 sports officials from the Ministry of Sports and Culture, Rwanda National Olympic, National Federations and Associations who contribute to the day-to-day administration of their organizations.
The third session which is taking place at Amahoro National Stadium will be an occasion for the participants to be able to understand the role of human resources management in their organizations, develop and implement rules and regulations for good management of their human resources, undertake the development and implementation of a human resources strategy, identify the key principles and actions for attracting, recruiting and motivating human resources, implement a development policy through training and develop the skills to effectively manage people.
The advanced sports management course is divided into seven sessions and the first session was held on February 15-16, 2018.
The next three sessions will be staged on the following dates:
- Fourth session: June 21-22, 2018
- Fifth session: July 12-13, 2018
- Sixth session: August 16-19, 2018.
