AEPS – Rwanda PROFILE

The Association of Physical and Sports Educators in Rwanda is an organization grouping all people involved professionally in sports and physical education.

The main objectives of the association were:

• Promoting sports and physical education in the country;
• Supporting institutions involved in sports or physical and sports education (PSE) in order to promote sports in general and PE and Sport in particular.

2. Mission

To provide an enabling environment for professionals in Physical Education, and advocate for promotion of Physical Education in schools.

3. Our Objectives

• Promote the Physical Education and sport in Rwanda,
• Support institutions and organizations to promote and develop Sport in General and particular Physical Education in schools,
• Create a framework of expression and encourage physical Educators to work for the development of Sport in Rwanda,
• Advocate and Enhance the status of Physical Educators in Rwanda,

4. Core Values

Promoting the Profession of Physical Educator and involvement in Sport Development in Rwanda by supporting sports organization and Public institution in charge of Sport Development.
